This year's Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra are very interesting. Before the elections, there was political chaos between the major parties in the state. After NCP and Shiv Sena split into two factions, the fight between real and fake started. With polling completed in all 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra, this is the season of election results that everyone is eagerly waiting for. Meanwhile, polls by TV9 Bharatvarsh, POLSTRAT and PEOPLES INSIDE are out. According to the post-election polls, the NDA has suffered a major setback in Maharashtra. Talking about Nagpur and Amaravati Lok Sabha constituencies, all eyes are on the results of these two constituencies. BJP Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Congress MLA Vikas Thackeray are in the fray from Nagpur constituency. According to polls by TV9 Bharatvarsh, POLSTRAT and PEOPLES Insight, the BJP is likely to win Nagpur once again. BJP wins Nagpur in polls: According to a poll by TV9 Bharatvarsh, POLSTRAT and PEOPLES INSIGHT, BJP's vote share in Nagpur was 65.77%, while Congress' vote share was 29.08%. In such a situation, this constituency can go back to BJP's account and Nitin Gadkari can register victory. Polling was held in Nagpur on April 19. A total of 55.35 percent of voters exercised their right to vote. After 2014, the equations changed. The Nagpur constituency was controlled by the Congress for a long time, but after 2014, the equation changed here and the BJP in the Congress stronghold. In the 1996 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP opened its account in this constituency for the first time and BJP's Banwarilal Purohit was elected as MP here. But from 1998 to 2004, this seat went back to the Congress. Subsequently, in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP fielded Nitin Gadkari as its candidate. In this election, Gadkari lost badly to one of the senior Congress leaders, Vilas Mutemwar. In 2019 too, Gadkari contested from the same constituency and defeated Congress candidate Nanabhai Falgun Rao Patol. For the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the BJP has again bet on Gadkari, who could register a victory in polls by TV9 Bharatvarsh, POLSTRAT and PEOPLES INSIDE.
