Maha Shivratri Puja Samagri
- Fruits – Offer fruits like bananas, berries, apples, grapes, and coconut as a holy food offering called Naivedyam.
- Flowers – Use fresh flowers such as aparajita, datura, marigold, jasmine, rose, mogra, and lotus to give to Lord Shiva.
- Bel Patra – Offer Bel Patra leaves to Lord Shiva on Mahashivratri for good results.
- Milk – You will also need milk for Abhishekam, a ritualistic bathing of Mahadev.
- Curd – Offer curd to Lord Shiva.
- Honey – Use honey during Abhishekam.
- Ghee – Keep ghee for lighting a lamp and for Abhishekam.
- Sugar – This is used in Abhishekam.
- Sandalwood – Offer sandal paste, as it’s the favourite of Lord Shiva.
- Earthen Lamp – Light a lamp with an earthen diya.
- Incense Sticks – Light them after completing puja rituals.
- Camphor – Use it during Aarti.
- Panchamrit – Offer this to Lord Shiva.
- Rudraksha Beads – Offer these beads to Lord Shiva for auspiciousness and use them for chanting mantras.
