L&T Construction bags multiple orders in the ₹2,500 crore to ₹5,000 crore range
As per L&T’s classification, orders in the ₹2,500 crore to ₹5,000 crore are termed as ‘large’ orders.
Among the multiple orders, L&T will be constructing the 165-bed Al Namaa General Hosptial in Oman. It received the order from the ministry of health of the Sultanate of Oman. The project is to be executed within 30 months, and will include civil structures, MEP services, medical equipment, finishes, and external development, including landscaping.
In the domestic market, the company will construct the Maa Kamakhya Temple Access Corridor in Assam. The order, secured from the state’s Public Works Department, is on a design and build turnkey basis and includes a multi-utility building, pilgrim management block, Chinnamasta block, Siddheshwar block and access corridor, the company said in a stock exchange filing. It also includes finishes, allied MEP services and external development on the premises.
L&T Construction also received an order from a subsidiary of a leading paint manufacturing company to build a polymer manufacturing plant in Gujarat. “The scope involves civil, structural and architectural works including external development works,” it said.
To conclude, the company also received a civil, structural and architectural works order for a solar glass manufacturing plant in Gujarat.
It’s stock was up 1.32% at ₹3,720 apiece at 11 am on March 27. The stock has gained 72.77% in the past year.
