Lok Sabha elections: Congress announced 9 candidates from Andhra Pradesh and two from Jharkhand

The list of Congress candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Jharkhand for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 was released in the ‘Central Election Committee’ meeting held on Sunday under the chairmanship of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. In this list, the party has announced the names of 9 Lok Sabha candidates from Andhra Pradesh and 2 from Jharkhand. The party has changed the candidate from Godda seat of Jharkhand. Now in place of MLA Deepika Pandey Singh, Pradeep Yadav has been fielded against BJP’s Nishikant Dubey. Similarly, ticket has been given to Yashaswini Sahay from Ranchi. She is the daughter of Subodhkant Sahay.

According to the list released by Congress, Dr. Pedda Parameshwara Rao from Srikakulam seat of Andhra Pradesh, Bobbili Srinu from Vizianagaram, Janga Gautam from Amalapuram, Golu Krishna from Machilipatnam, Valuru Bhargava from Vijayawada, Ida Sudhakar Reddy from Ongole, Jangiti Lakshmi Narasimha from Nandyal. Yadav, Mallikarjun Vajjala from Anantapur and BA Samad Shaheen from Hindupur have been made candidates.
