Lok Sabha Elections 2024: As per the instructions of Election Commission, polling is going on from morning in two booths in Parasad and Madurapur.
Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Repolling will be held on Monday in West Bengal's Parasad and Mathurapur Lok Sabha constituencies in one polling station each. According to reports, the polling started at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm. The two polling booths are at Kadambagachi Sardar Bara FP School in Deganga assembly constituency in Parasat and Adir Mahal Sri Chaitanya Vidyapeedam in Madurapur's Gagdweep assembly constituency, officials said. A senior official said that 31.62 per cent voting in Parasad polling booth and 21.37 per cent voting in Mathurapur polling booth till 11 am. Officials said it was decided to conduct re-polling on Sunday based on reports from district election officials and concerned observers.
