Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Ahead of the seventh and final phase of Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal, Bangar is back in the limelight. There was a stir after a bomb and bomb-making materials were recovered from the house of an ISF personnel in Saltabedia under North Kashipur police station area on Wednesday night. A clash broke out between ISF and Trinamool workers over this. A local Trinamool worker and his brother were allegedly attacked by ISF supporters on Wednesday night. Trinamool leader Khairul Islam from Bhagwanpur said that they were attacked unnecessarily. 7 injured in blast Canning East MLA Shaukat said ISF soldiers were collecting explosives and weapons to create unrest in the area before voting. Meanwhile, Banker's ISF chief Raynur Huq said the allegations were baseless. He said the recovery of bombs and bomb-making materials 24 hours before polling was part of the Trinamool conspiracy. False cases are filed in the names of ISF polling agents so that they cannot sit in the booth. Trinamool's conspiracy will be exposed if the administration conducts an impartial investigation.
