After the meeting, PM Modi went to Rashtrapati Bhavan to announce the cabinet decision and submit his resignation letter. Efforts have intensified. No party got an absolute majority in this election but the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance won enough seats to form the government. However, the BJP is dependent on JD(U) and TDP to form the government. On the other hand, enthusiasm for the Congress-led Indian Alliance is also high. Although the Indian coalition is still far from an absolute majority, their camp is definitely planning to oust Modi from power with the help of new allies. Amidst this whole dilemma, a meeting of the National Democratic Alliance and Indian Alliance parties is being held in Delhi today. The Modi cabinet has submitted its resignation and the BJP is preparing to form a new government.
