Lava O2 to launch in India on March 22: Here’s what to expect
On X (formerly Twitter), the company announced that the Lava O2 will be launched in India on March 22nd at noon.
The company revealed that the Lava O2 will be powered by the Unisoc T616 chipset.
The microsite of the Lava O2 handset is also live on Amazon, revealing a few things about the device.
The microsite revealed that the Lava O2 smartphone will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will come with an 18W charger.
The upcoming Lava O2 will house a 50MP AI rear camera. Moreover, it is confirmed to come in Green and Purple colours.
The Lava O2 handset will have a dual rear camera setup at the top left corner. There will be a small Lava logo on the bottom left corner of the rear panel.
While the bottom of the Lava O2 will have a speaker grille and charging port, the right side will have the power and volume buttons.
Now, let’s talk about the specifications. The Lava O2 was recently spotted on Amazon India website, revealing its specifications. The listing has now been removed, indicating that it was accidentally put up.
According to the spotted Amazon listing, the upcoming Lava O2 will likely feature a 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is expected to come with Android 13 out of the box. Also, the Lava O2 could pack a 5000mAh battery.
Other features revealed by the Amazon listing are a 2x fast side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock, AG glass back, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
