Land scam: ED sub-chargesheet filed against Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi Yadav
Land scam for work: Patna. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday filed a supplementary chargesheet against former railway minister Lalu Prasad, his son Tejashwi Yadav and eight others in the land scam case. Additional chargesheet was filed before Special Judge Vishal Kogane. Special Judge Vishal Kogane adjourned the next hearing of the case to August 13. The matter relates to recruitments made in Group-D, the ED case is a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) FIR. According to the investigating agency, the case related to the recruitment of Group-D in the West-Central Zone of the Railways in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, when Lalu was the Railway Minister from 2004 to 2009. The railway recruits are said to have gifted land for employment to family members and associates of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo.
