The right way: Soup should always be taken before meals. But if you are taking it in the morning, then drink it after breakfast. Soup on an empty stomach can be harmful for health. Do not drink milk or tea for an hour before or after taking it. This can cause acidity or any other type of problem in the stomach.
Keep in mind: As far as possible, always drink freshly prepared soup. Do not drink soup stored for more than a day as there is a risk of bacteria growing in it. Always drink hot soup and do not use butter, ghee, oil or any other greasy substance while preparing it, otherwise excess amount of fat can increase obesity.
