Kate Middleton cancer – latest: William’s response to Harry and Meghan’s support message was not ‘warm’

The message, which was “engineered by the palace” with
the two brothers remaining estranged
, reportedly had the tone of “two wary diplomats”.

According to royal expert Tom Quinn, the
Sussexes contacted the Prince and Princess of Wales
following her cancer diagnosis but didn’t include any suggestion the brothers “should make up and let bygones be bygones”.

He added that it was “hardly the kind of warm, informal response” Harry may have expected.

The revelation comes after it emerged the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not told about Kate’s cancer diagnosis in advance as they are not trusted by the family.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told The Sun he believed Harry and Meghan were not informed due to “endless problems” the pair have caused for the Royal Family.

“The reason of course is that for some four years, they’ve caused endless problems for the Royal Family and so they can’t be trusted,” he said.
