Jharkhand: Heat-hit Jharkhand saw the mercury cross 48 degrees
At present, extreme heat is prevailing across North India. People don't seem to be getting relief anywhere. Same is the case in Jharkhand. Out of Jharkhand's 24 districts, 23 districts recorded temperatures above 40 degrees on Wednesday. Even on Tuesday, temperatures crossed 40 degrees in 17 districts of Jharkhand. At the same time, if we talk about maximum temperature, it is from Karwa district. Karwa district recorded a temperature of 48.0 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. Palamu district recorded mercury of 47.7 degrees Celsius. At present there is no chance of relief from the heat in Jharkhand. The Meteorological Department has warned that heat will increase in 3 districts. Meanwhile, people have been advised to come out of their homes to avoid the heat.
