IPL 2024: Punjab Kings win the toss, elect to field first against Delhi Capitals
For match 2 of IPL 2024 between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings, Kings won the toss and elected to field first against the Capitals. Shikhar Dhawan, who is leading Punjab, stated that the pitch is new which is why they are fielding first.
Rishabh Pant, who is returning to IPL after missing last year, stated that he would have looked to bat first as well.
Dhawan stated that Liam Livingstone, Kagiso Rabada, Jonny Bairstow, and Sam Curran are the four overseas players. For Delhi, they went ahead with four overseas batters.
