Not only that, but many users who have moved to iOS 17.4 are experiencing troubles with the autocorrect feature after upgrading. Even after putting up autocorrect, users continue to have typos and formation difficulties.
This comes after several users reported the malfunction that their autocorrect feature is not working properly after upgrading to the iOS 17.4 update. While the exact reason behind the feature is under investigation, the report suggests that old iPhone users are more prone to this error. However, the specific number of devices and model names have not been revealed as of now.
According to MacRumors, the tech giant already knows the issue and is working on the case. The tech giant may address the issue with the new update iOS/iPadOS 17.4.1. It is also expected that the company will introduce the new update within a few days. As per the report, the update with version number 21E235 will fix the autocorrect issues and will bring back error error-free typing experience for all the affected users.
Meanwhile, you can try toggling the autocorrect setting by disabling and enabling it again in the keyboard setting. Not only that, you can even try restarting your device which may solve some minor software glitches. However, these solutions may offer temporary solutions until the new software update arrives.
Furthermore, the tech giant intends to launch the fourth generation of Apple AirPods alongside the iPhone 16 at the September event, suggests Mark Gurman. According to Bloomberg, after introducing the AirPods, the business may drop the prior generation in order to achieve record sales levels.
