Indian Navy Fireman Recruitment 2024: Vacancy, Eligibility, and Application Process Revealed

The Ministry of Defence, Government of India, is inviting applications through the proper channel for the position of 40 Fireman (Erstwhile Fireman Grade-I & II) at Headquarters Southern Naval Command, Kochi.

This vacancy is open for absorption from individuals serving in similar, equivalent, or higher grades in the Defence Services.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be below 56 years of age.
Applicants should possess a Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification.
Selection Process:

The selection process involves undergoing a Physical Fitness Test as per specified standards.
Eligible candidates will receive information about the exact date, time, and venue for the test via post/email.
Following the Physical Fitness Test, there will be a Document Verification stage where all relevant documents about age, education, identity, etc., will be scrutinized and verified.
Once the documents are verified satisfactorily, provisionally selected candidates will receive an appointment letter based on merit and performance.
Application Process:

Interested candidates should submit their applications through Registered/Speed Post, adhering to the prescribed format provided by the Indian Navy.
The application should be accompanied by necessary documents such as CR Dossiers/APARs, disciplinary clearance certificates, integrity certificates, and proof of educational qualifications.

The application submission deadline is 60 days from the date of advertisement publication in Employment News.
