IIFA Awards 2025 to be Held in Jaipur, Deputy CM Diya Kumari Calls It a 'Proud Moment'
Rajasthan is set to take center stage on the global entertainment map as the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2025 will be hosted in Jaipur. This marks only the second time that the prestigious event is being organized in India, bringing a significant opportunity for the state to showcase its tourism and cultural heritage.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari expressed pride in hosting the event, stating, “It is a matter of pride for us that the IIFA Awards are being organized in Jaipur. This is a big opportunity for Rajasthan as a global stage is being provided to the state. It will be telecast all over the world.”

Boost to Tourism and Film Industry
Deputy CM Kumari emphasized that the event would not only bring Bollywood celebrities to Jaipur but also highlight Rajasthan’s tourism potential. “We urged all celebrities to visit various places in Rajasthan and talk about the prospects of tourism there,” she said.
To further promote Rajasthan’s appeal as a film-shooting destination, short films highlighting the state’s scenic beauty and cultural heritage will be showcased on March 8 and 9. These initiatives are expected to attract more filmmakers to the state, reinforcing Rajasthan’s position as a preferred location for movie productions.
New Film and Tourism Policy on the Horizon
In a bid to enhance the state’s film-friendly ecosystem, Deputy CM Kumari announced that Rajasthan would introduce a new Film and Tourism Policy to facilitate more productions and boost local tourism. “We are improvising tourism in the state… A film and tourism policy will also be launched in the state,” she added.
With Rajasthan’s rich architectural heritage, stunning landscapes, and cultural vibrancy, the IIFA Awards 2025 are expected to generate global attention and further strengthen the state’s image as a premier tourist and film destination.
