Gurugram Municipal Corporation says that despite the warning, if anyone is found violating the rules, the water supply connection of the house will be cut off. Washing cars at homes is increasing the wastage of water. People use more water than required to wash cars at home. Due to which the water supply system is getting overloaded.
The owner will be fined Rs 5,000
According to the order, if a car is found being washed during the supply hours between 5 to 9, a fine of Rs 5000 will be imposed on the owner. Apart from this, the water connection can also be cut and the consumer will have to pay an additional Rs 1000 to get it reconnected. The administration hopes that after this order, the wastage of water by vehicle owners in the city will be stopped.
