If EVMs are bad, how come Congress won in Telangana, Himachal and Karnataka? Amit Shah questioned
Ahead of the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah gave an exclusive interview to TV9's Bharatvarsh. Then, Shah attacked the opposition parties. Then, Home Minister Amit Shah was asked a question regarding the malfunctioning of the electronic voting machine, in which Shah said that if the machine malfunctioned, how could the Congress win in Telangana, Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka. “I don't understand what the Congress is saying,” he said. Sometimes they question the voting percentage and sometimes the EVM machines. Congress never asked the question in the states it won the election. Recently, when the elections were held, the Congress formed the government in Himachal, won in Telangana and Mamata formed the government in Bengal. Hitting out at opposition parties, Home Minister Amit Shah doesn't mention electronic voting machines if they win and shouts in advance if they lose. The public is watching all this. The Home Minister added that the BJP is in a very strong position in four Lok Sabha constituencies and six assembly constituencies in Himachal Pradesh. There has been anger among the people because the Congress government has broken its promises in favor of the BJP. We will win again in all four constituencies there. Attacking the Congress, the Congress has promised a stipend of Rs 1500 to women in Himachal Pradesh. There, the milk vendors were promised to purchase milk at Rs 100 per litre, but not a single task was completed. In Telangana too, all urgent and loud claims were made. On Rahul Gandhi's announcement on Agni Veeran, Amit Shah said, “My problem is that I can't read more than half a page.” Agniveeran's arrangement is that out of 100 soldiers, 25 will be made permanent and the rest will be given relaxation and other perks in government, police etc.
