I thought reality shows are scripted… Remo D’Souza had rejected ‘Dance India Dance’ – Read

Famous film director, dancer and choreographer Remo D’Souza recently shared some interesting things about his career on social media influencer Faizu’s ‘Long Drive Show’. Known for choreographing hit songs like ‘Badtameez Dil’, ‘Deewani Mastani’ and ‘The Disco Song’, Remo had restarted the trend of dance reality shows that ended with ‘Boogie-Woogie’ with ‘Dance India Dance’. But Remo told that he had initially rejected the offer of this show.
Remo said that when he got the offer of ‘Dance India Dance’, he rejected this offer. Because he believed that TV shows are fake. Remo said, “I was not in favor of doing any reality show on TV. I thought that all the shows aired here are scripted. But Lizelle (Remo D’Souza’s wife) told me that at least I should hear about this show. After her persuasion, I met the producer of ‘Dance India Dance’.” Remo further told that before joining the show, he had put a special condition in front of the makers. He said, “I had put this condition in front of the team that I and my fellow choreographers will do this show only if there is no script involved in it. And all three of us will be given a chance to express our heart openly.”

Celebrating 13 awesome years of fun, laughter, and friendship!
