Hyundai Creta N Line SUV Launched In India At Rs 16.82 Lakh – The Everyday Sporty SUV
At the event, Hyundai also revealed that the new Creta SUV has already crossed 80,000 bookings in India. Moreover, it is also worth mentioning that the Creta N Line bookings are already open and interested buyers can book the SUV by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000.
Starting with the design, the newly launched Hyundai Creta N Line SUV looks very different from the standard Hyundai Creta SUV with its redesigned front and rear bumpers. However, the side profile of the Creta N Line is similar to the standard model.
Looking into details, the new Hyundai Creta N Line comes with a split front grille, where the upper half is just an aesthetic unit used to connect the DRLs. On the other hand, the rectangle-shaped lower front grille mimics itself as a single unit by connecting the LED headlights.
Thanks to this design, which enhances the horizontal elements, the new Hyundai Creta N Line looks much wider than the standard model, accentuating its sporty character. At the rear, the Creta N Line sports a faux diffuser instead of faux skid plates as well.
Variant Price (Ex-Showroom)
N8 (Manual) Rs 16,82,300
N8 (DCT) Rs 18,32,300
N10 (Manual) Rs 19,34,300
N10 (DCT) Rs 20,29,300
It is also worth mentioning that Hyundai has again leaned on improving horizontal design elements at the rear to accentuate the width of the model along with the usage of a more prominent-looking rear spoiler and dual-tip exhausts.
In terms of colour options, the new Hyundai Creta N Line SUV will be available in 6 colour options. Out of these 6 colour options, 3 shades are dual-tone versions based on the 3 mono-tone shades (Titan Grey Matte, Abyss Black, and Atlas White).
On the inside, the Hyundai Creta N Line SUV sports an all-black-themed interior. However, this darker interior is spiced up using splashes of red accents across the cabin. The model also sports plenty of ‘N Line’ logos and badges as well.
Standout features in the Hyundai Creta N Line SUV include dual 10.25-inch screens (touchscreen infotainment unit and digital instrument cluster), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging pad, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, powered driver seat, connected car tech and much more.
In terms of safety, the Creta N Line comes loaded with safety features such as 6 airbags, Dashcam, ABS, EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ESS, TPMS, traction control, hill start assist, ISOFIX points, Level-2 ADAS tech, and much more.
Unlike the standard Hyundai Creta, the new Creta N Line comes equipped with just one engine option – A 1.5-litre, turbocharged petrol engine with 158bhp and 253Nm of peak torque. It is also worth mentioning that this engine can also be specified with the standard Creta SUV.
However, unlike the standard Creta with the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, the Creta N Line can be specified with a 6-speed manual gearbox. That being said, the 7-speed DCT unit continues to be offered in the Creta N Line SUV as well.
According to Hyundai, the new Creta N Line delivers a fuel efficiency of 18.2km/l when equipped with the 7-speed SCT gearbox, whereas the manual variant is just marginally less fuel-efficient with a fuel efficiency figure of 18km/l.
It is also worth mentioning that engineers at Hyundai have reworked the suspension in the Creta N Line SUV to make it handle better than the standard model. As such, we expect the Creta N Line to have more stability at higher speeds.
Thoughts About The Hyundai Creta N Line
With the launch of the Hyundai Creta N Line, HMIL is expected to attract the attention of the younger demographic. This will positively affect the appeal of the Creta SUV in India and further boost the overall sales of the SUV in the country.
We also expect the newly launched Hyundai Creta N Line SUV to become an instant hit with its target audience. This will encourage Hyundai to launch more N Line or N models in India.
