Honda Motorcycles Reports Remarkable 83.18% Sales Increase in February 2024
HMSI has reported around a 50% increase in sales of both, the domestic market and the export market. The domestic market in February 2024 had 4,13,967 units sold which is a 54% increase compared to the 2,27,064 units sold in February 2023. HMSI export market had an increase of 44% in sales with 44,744 units sold in February 2024 when compared to the 20,111 units sold in February 2023.
Honda Activa (2,00,134 units)
Honda’s top-selling model for February 2024 was the Honda Activa which had 2,00,134 units sold. When compared to February 2023, this is an incredible growth in sales for the Activa with a 14.69% increase in YoY sales with 1,74,503 units sold in February 2023. The Activa holds the largest share of the list with 48.11%.
Honda CB Shine (1,20,119 units)
Honda’s CB Shine takes home second place with 1,20,119 units sold and 28.88% of Honda’s sales, which is a phenomenal 237.47% growth from February 2023’s 35,594 units sold
Honda Dio (29,649 units)
The Dio has experienced a growth of 104.63% in its year-over-year sales when compared to the 14,489 units sold in February 2023, having sold 29,649 units in February 2024 which is 7.13% of the Honda’s units sold.
Honda Unicorn (23,293 units)
The Honda Unicorn sold 23,293 units in February 2024, which is an impressive 1639.58% YoY growth as compared to February 2023’s 1,339 units sold, with the Unicorn taking fourth place with 5.60% of Honda’s sales.
Honda Shine 100 (22,644 units)
The Honda Shine 100, a newcomer on the block, the Shine sold 22,644 units in February 2024. Only being launched on the 15th of March 2023, the Honda Shine 100 still manages to hold 5.44% of Honda’s sales for February 2024.
Honda SP160 (5,155 units)
Another Newcomer to the market, the SP160 holds the “sixth spot” with 5,155 units sold in February 2024. Honda Launched the SP160 on the 8th of August 2023 and still holds a 1.24% share of Honda’s sales.
Honda Dream (5,103 units)
Seventh on the list, we have the Honda Dream which had 5,103 units sold in February 2024. This is an amazing 983.44% increase in YoY sales when compared to the 471 units sold in February 2023. The Honda Dream accounts for 1.23% of Honda’s Sales.
Honda Livo (3,211 units)
The Honda Livo sold 3,211 units in February 2024 and accounts for 0.77% of Honda’s sales. This is a 1346.40% increase in YoY sales for Honda when compared to February 2023 which had 222 units of the Livo sold.
Hness 350 (2,072 units)
The Hness 350 from Honda had an incredible 549.53% growth in YoY sales, with 2,072 units being sold in February 2024 when compared to the 319 units sold the previous year. The Hness 350 holds 0.50% of HMSI sales for February 2024.
The Honda CB350 (1,784 units)
The Honda CB350 at number 10 is another newcomer on the list on being launched in November 2023 and holds 0.43% of Honda’s Sales for February 2024, with 1,784 units being sold.
