Historical shrines in the district are the stronghold of Hinduism. Everyone has to accept the responsibility for the development of this pilgrimage site. Revenue and Guardian Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil asserted that traditional heritage sites will give us energy of thought for the collective struggle against the challenges facing Hindu religion and culture.
The ground-breaking ceremony of the extension work of the assembly hall of the historic large Maruti temple in the city, which was restored by Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar, was done with the auspicious hands of Minister Vikhe Patil. Vikhe Patil has made available a fund of 37 lakh rupees through the District Planning and Development Committee for the work of this meeting hall.
On this occasion, in a program organized by Shri Hanuman Mandir Devasthan Trustee Committee, Minister Vikhe Patil was felicitated by giving an idol of Manpatra Lakshmi on behalf of all Hindutva organizations. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s senior leader Ashokrao Saraf presided over this program, Temple Trustee Committee President Somnath Parai, Vice President Kamlakar Bhalekar, Vinay Gune, Shriram Ganpule, District Magistrate Shailendra Hinge, Tehsildar Dheeraj Manjare, Principal Rahul Wagh, Group Development Officer Anil Nagane etc. were present on the occasion.
In his speech, Minister Vikhe Patil said that the district’s pilgrimage development plan has been prepared. Through this, job creation in this area will be prioritized by developing the temple premises.
Vikhe Patil informed that the state government has taken the initiative to prepare the biggest development plan for Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Mandir Devasthan at Srikshetra Nevase, and a proposal has been submitted for the availability of funds of Rs.
A theme park and laser show on the life of Saibaba is being built for the devotees coming to Shirdi with a fund of Rs.100 crore and its work has started. The state government has sanctioned the first phase of funds of Rs. 40 crores for this purpose.
Ahilyanagar is known as a spiritual city. The temples in every taluk are the heritage sites of its cultural tradition. Minister Vikhe Patil said that the big Maruti shrine of Sangamner is historic and the trustees and citizens are proud of the task of cultivating the tradition of Rathotsava here.
Today Hindu religion and culture are facing a big challenge. If the attack on religion is to be suppressed, there is no alternative but collective struggle. For this, Minister Vikhe expressed his belief that we will get energy only from Asha heritage sites. Development of pilgrimage areas is being given priority through the state government. Chief Minister Tirtha Darshan Yojana has been started for the senior citizens and it has been decided to give a grant of thirty thousand to the senior citizens, so there is a need to send many people from the taluka for pilgrimage. The development process should not look after the interest of the contractor by pretending that many people can fit in the scheme considering the age. He expressed the opinion that this should be considered beyond politics.
Senior Sangh leader Ashokrao Saraf thanked Minister Vikhe Patil for making available Rs 37 crores for the temple after informing about the historical progress of Maruti temple. There is no option but to unite as Hindu religion while working to create social structure even on caste. He appealed to everyone in the Hindu religion to wake up and exercise their right to vote during the Lok Sabha election experience. The introduction of the program was done by BJP’s city president Shriram Ganpule, while Mrs. Smita Gune moderated the program and read the certificate of honour.
