Smartphone has become so important that life seems impossible without it. That is why whenever we charge our phone, we just wish that the phone gets charged in a blink of an eye. Nowadays, fast charging technology has come, with which smartphones get charged within half an hour to one hour. But an Indian-origin researcher has invented such a technology that not only phones but even laptops will get fully charged in 1 minute. Not only this, this high speed charging technology can charge an electric car (EV) in just 10 minutes.
Under this new technology, the movement of ions, i.e. small charged particles, has been detected. This makes charging electronic gadgets very easy. Technology This new experiment is no less than a revolution. This will make it easier to make better storage devices and will also save people's time with high speed charging.
Indian scientist discovered high speed charging technology
Ankur Gupta, Assistant Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder, USA, and his team of researchers have discovered this technology, which has been published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Researchers detected ions – tiny charged particles – inside a very complex structure of tiny holes. This experiment could accelerate the development of supercapacitors.
will save electricity
A supercapacitor is an energy storage device that relies on ion collection in its holes. This invention is important for EVs, electronic devices and power grids. Supercapacitors can charge faster and last longer than batteries.
Regarding the power grid, Gupta believes that fluctuating power demand requires better storage to reduce power wastage during low demand periods and guarantee faster power supply during high demand periods.
Movement of ions
The researchers also revealed that this discovery makes it possible to simulate and predict ion flow in a complex network of thousands of interconnected holes in a matter of minutes. They said that before this discovery, the literature only referred to ion activity as occurring within a straight hole.
