Give a new twist to Dhokla in the rain, make it easily at home
Gujarati Dhokla is now world famous. Apart from this, Dhokla is a common dish in our house sometimes for breakfast and sometimes for dinner. However, if you are tired of eating the same type of Dhokla at home, then you can try this Dhokla. Since corn is used in it, it is tasty and healthy. So know the easy recipe.
Sweet Corn Dhokla
Material
2 cups sweet corn
– 1 cup semolina
– 1 pinch of turmeric
– 1 cup curd
– salt to taste
– 1 inch ginger – ground
– 1 lemon
– 3/4 tsp Eno powder
– 2 to 3 tablespoons oil
– 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
– 10 to 12 neem leaves
– 1 to 2 green chillies, chopped

– Beat the curd and mix the semolina flour well. Crush the sweet corn and prepare a creamy mixture. Add sweet corn cream, salt, turmeric and ginger paste to the curd and semolina mixture. Squeeze lemon juice into the mixture. When all the ingredients are mixed well, leave it for 5 minutes. – Now add Eno powder to it and stir it well once. – Now heat two and a half cups of water in a vessel. – Now apply oil on a plate and keep the dhokla mixture ready. – When the water is hot, put a plate of dhokla in it and cover it. Check after ten to fifteen minutes. If the dhokla has puffed up, take it off and keep another plate in the same way.
Once the hot dhokla is ready, add oil, mustard seeds, neem leaves and green chillies to it. This dhokla tastes delicious and is healthy. Due to the flavour of corn, this dhokla gives a different taste and is fun to eat in monsoon.
