Gaya News: Diseases are on the rise due to intense sunlight after rains, 1200 patients reach hospitals daily.
Gaya News: All the hospitals of Gaya in Bihar are crowded with patients these days. During this season people get sick due to less rain and more sunlight. Due to this, patients suffer from not even getting a bed in the hospitals. In a way, no one would be wrong to say that this season has brought sickness. In the city's biggest hospital, ANMMCH, district hospitals are struggling for beds. 1200 patients visit the OPD every day and this is the case in all the hospitals in the district. Also, patients suffering from fever, diarrhea etc. come to the hospital. Talking about emergency treatment, the district hospital has 36 beds excluding female patients. This bed is full all the time. Every day 1200 patients visit the OPD for treatment. Looking at ANMMCH, it has 70 emergency beds including ICU. 150-160 patients are accommodated in it. 150 new patients are being admitted here every day. All the wards of the department here are overflowing. There is no place to accommodate patients. Even after patients are transferred from the emergency department to the ward, they are not referred. Because there is no room in the ward. In an emergency, trolleys, chairs, cots are all overflowing. Mats on the floor are also being treated. Doctors said: Pediatrician Dr. Ravindra Kumar said: Currently, the number of patients suffering from viral fever, vomiting, diarrhea, pneumonia, cold, cough and jaundice is increasing rapidly. Children are getting sick because of climate change. The number of sick children in the ward has increased by 15 to 20 percent. As rain has decreased, sunlight is spreading the disease. Climate change is causing people to get sick and go to the hospital. If the same situation continues, the number of patients in hospitals will increase rapidly, said Dr. NK Paswan. Therefore, one should be careful not to get diseases during this season. After the rains, scorching sun and humid heat are causing hardship to the people. Exposure to humidity and sunlight causes excessive sweating from the body. This causes water deficiency in the body. Along with this, patients become dehydrated and reach the hospital with complaints of vomiting and diarrhea. According to in-charge district hospital manager Sanjay Ambasht, the number of OPD patients has increased significantly this season. This causes some problems. Even after this, everyone is receiving treatment here. Here, ANMMCH Hospital Deputy Superintendent said: There is no space even to set up a separate bed during emergency. Efforts are being made to provide better treatment facilities to the people within existing resources.
