Mumbai: India’s stock markets witnessed huge selling of shares worth Rs 8027 crore by foreign funds over the weekend, as global markets turned soft on the back of the US as rising inflation in the US and heat in crude oil prices. The European Central Bank left interest rates unchanged in June amid doubts about a rate cut in the US as inflation now rises above earlier estimates for three rate cuts in the US this year, and sentiment remains weak in global markets. .
