Tharoor said this while commenting on the British election results. After winning the election in Britain, Labor leader Keir Stormer visited Buckingham Palace and met King Charles III. After this he officially became the new Prime Minister of Britain. The biggest defeat for the Conservative Party in Britain in the last 200 years, this time the ruling Conservative Party suffered a crushing defeat and Rishi Sunak resigned as Prime Minister. Chung was replaced by 61-year-old Keir Starmer of the Labor Party who became Britain's 58th Prime Minister. In this election, the Conservative Party suffered its biggest defeat in the last 200 years, as 650 of the UK's seats were up for grabs, with a majority of 326. Results of 648 seats are out so far. The Labor Party won 412 seats. At the same time, the Conservative Party was reduced to 120 seats. Liberal Democrats came third with 71 seats.
