Everything about this Korean action thriller criminal drama

New Delhi: The Player 2: Master of Swindlers is the next exciting instalment in a long line of highly praised Korean dramas, which include Queen of Tears, Lovely Runner, Crash, Connection, and many more.
Comedic, criminal, and action elements came together in Player’s first season, which followed a gang of con artists and criminals as they worked to expose and bring down corrupt politicians, businesses, and government agencies.
The release date for the drama on the tvN original network is June 3.

Storyline
This action thriller revolves around the theft of illicitly acquired wealth by the rich. The finest in many professions, including fraudsters, hackers, fighters, and drivers, form a coalition to uncover and seize this illicitly acquired wealth.
Season 2 of The Player will have these top players reuniting for another exciting experience. Under the guidance of an enchanting leader, the group overcomes perilous landscapes, takes on fearsome enemies, and faces their own demons as they cross the line between friend and foe in their fight for survival.
The group’s intelligence, competence, and dogged resolve will be put to the test as they face mounting pressure and betrayal of trust. In Season 2 of The Player, viewers can expect an adrenaline-fueled adventure full of gripping action, breathtaking surprises, and riveting suspense that will keep them hooked right up until the last scene.

Release Date and Platform
The tvN Korean drama will be streamable on TVING’s subscription service, Viu, and Viki Rakuten. The web series will have its exclusive debut on these streaming sites for the first episode on June 3, 2024, at 8:50 PM KST.
Continuing every Monday and Tuesday until July 9, 2024, a total of twelve episodes will be released for the drama.

Cast and Crew
The drama’s main cast includes Song Seung Heon (Kang Ha Ri/Choi Su Hyuk), Tae Won Seok (Do Jin Woong), Oh Yeon Seo (Jung Soo Min), Lee Si Eon (Im Byung Min), and Jang Gyu Ri (Cha Jae Yi).
Kim Won Hae, Ha Do Gwon, Jo Sung Ha, Lee Joon Hyuk, and others make up the supporting cast.
Park Sang Moon wrote the script, while Go Jae Hyun and So Jae Hyun directed it.
