New Delhi. Lok Sabha Exit Poll Result 2024: The Lok Sabha elections, which started in the month of April, have reached their final phase today. Voting is being held on 57 seats in 8 states on Saturday, June 1. After 44 days of election process, the votes will be counted and the results will be declared on June 4. However, before that, exit polls are being discussed everywhere in the country. Only a few hours are left for the exit poll results to come. Exit polls will be released from 6:30 pm after the completion of the election process. But before that the Election Commission has made a big announcement.
After the completion of the seventh phase of Lok Sabha elections, voting will be completed on all 543 seats of the country. After this the results will be declared on June 4. After the last phase of voting, the Election Commission has taken a big decision regarding the exit poll (Lok Sabha Exit Poll Result 2024). The Election Commission has issued important instructions to media groups regarding the exit poll to be held after the voting.
On the last day of the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections, the Election Commission has banned showing the results of exit polls before 6:30 pm. The Election Commission has given this order by issuing a notification. The Election Commission (Lok Sabha Exit Poll Result 2024) has clarified that if this order is violated, action will be taken under subsection of the Representation of the People Act (1951). Violation of this Act is punishable with two years imprisonment or fine or both. The Election Commission says that there will be a ban on exit polls till 6.30 pm on June 1. That is, any TV channel or other media house will be able to broadcast the exit poll live only after 6.30 pm on June 1.
This year's Lok Sabha elections began on 19 April. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government has been in power at the center for the last 10 years. BJP is claiming that it will come to power for the third consecutive time in this year's Lok Sabha elections. At the same time, Congress contested the elections with the opposition through Bharat Aghadi. Bharat Aghadi has also claimed to win more than 300 seats. Therefore, it is likely that the picture will become clear from the exit polls coming soon.
