DU's NCWEB admission process begins

New Delhi . The admission process has started in Delhi University's Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB). This is a better option for working women of Delhi and those who have passed 12th. If admission is taken by giving wrong information, then the admission will be cancelled. Even if the course has been completed, the degree of the student will be declared invalid.

While admission in regular colleges of DU is being done through CUT, the merit for graduation admission in NCWEB will be made on the basis of 12th marks. According to the information, this board will give admission in about 15,000 seats in 26 colleges of Delhi University in 2 graduate programs BA and B.Com of NCWEB. The total number of seats in BA program is 9230 and in B.Com it is 5980. Admission in graduation will be done on the basis of 12th marks and in post graduation on the basis of CUET.
If at any stage the original documents related to the admission of a candidate are found to be fake or false or prepared in a wrong manner or defective in any manner, then the said candidate will not be given admission. His/her admission will be cancelled without giving any prior notice in this regard.
These are the important facts
● Registration for admission to undergraduate courses in NCWEB will be through DU's undergraduate online registration portal. It is mandatory for all candidates to apply here.
● Along with the minimum eligibility criteria, other terms and conditions prescribed will also be applicable for NCWEB admission.
● Only female candidates residing in the National Capital Territory of Delhi will be eligible for admission.
● Only OBC, EWC certificate issued by the competent authority on or after 1st April, 2024 with the name of the applicant will be valid.
● All admissions are final until confirmed by the Board. Also, at the time of admission, candidates will have to give an affidavit that they will maintain a minimum of 67 per cent attendance in each session.
● Any request for change in the deadline set by the University, Centre, concerned offices will not be entertained.
● After completion of the admission process, a program will be organized for guidance of NCWEC students.
