Drone Training: Government is giving drone training and license to 10th pass youth for Rs 9300, golden opportunity to make a career, drones are being used not only in farming today but in many fields. These are saving both time and money on crops and at the same time the quality of the crop is also increasing. In such a situation, the demand for youth studying or taking training in drones is increasing rapidly. However, farmers are not able to buy drones due to their price being more than Rs 10 lakh. Therefore, the demand for drone operators or those taking training to fly drones for agricultural work has increased a lot. The government is also promoting the use of agricultural drones in farming.
Importance of Drones in Farming
Farmers have saved a lot of time and money through agricultural drones. A drone is an unmanned aircraft. It is used for everything from monitoring climate change to natural disasters, photography, filmmaking and delivering goods. The first drone approved by the Government of India, Agribot, was built in just 35 days. Drones are used in farming to analyze soil and fields. Drones are used to detect upcoming weather conditions.
Drone Training in Government Institutions
Training is also being provided in government institutions along with certificates for drone flying. Training is being provided for flying drones or their proper use. Many state governments including Telangana Government Drone Academy and the Agriculture Ministry are providing drone training at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udan Academy. Delhi University is also offering drone flying courses.
Drone Course in Delhi University
In Delhi University, youth will be given training to make, fly and repair drones. A course named ‘Pilot Training for Drones’ is being started under the university’s School of Open Learning. Applications for the course will start from July 21. In this, students will be given both theory and practical. After doing the drone course, students will also be given training.

Drone course at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udan Academy
The drone pilot training program course is taught at the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udan Academy of the Civil Aviation Ministry of the Central Government, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, drone training is also given in Gurgaon, Bangalore, Gwalior, Kangra, Coimbatore, Madurai and Bhopal. In the 5-day course, theory and practical information is given from making a drone to flying it.
