Batting first after losing the toss, Rajasthan scored 196 runs at the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. Gujarat achieved the target of 197 runs by losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.
Gujarat needed 15 runs to win in the 20th over. Rajasthan team remained 5 minutes behind the scheduled over. Due to this, in the last over, instead of 5, only 4 players could send Sanju to the boundary. Rashid Khan of GT led the team to victory by taking three wickets.
