According to sources in Tihar, Manish Sisodia may be released from Gate No. 3 of Tihar Jail. He is lodged in Tihar Jail No.1. Prisoners lodged in Jail No. 1 come out of Jail through Gate No. 3. At the same time, if there is any concern about security, it can be taken out from some other gate as well. The Supreme Court granted bail to Sisodia with conditions. Sisodia has to submit his passport. Twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, you have to visit the police station. Sisodia has been in jail for the past 17 months. What did the Supreme Court say? While passing the verdict on Manish Sisodia's bail, the Supreme Court said that although the trial court was given 6 to 8 months time, the investigation was not completed. The trial court and the High Court should understand that bail is the rule and imprisonment is the exception. The Supreme Court has said that no one can be punished by imprisonment without completion of trial. It was argued by the ED and CBI that Sisodia should approach the trial court seeking bail but the Supreme Court rejected it. The Supreme Court said that the High Court had ignored the rules.
