He said that they are going to protest tomorrow i.e. Monday by blocking 14 electricity board offices in Delhi until the PPAC and pension surcharge are withdrawn. At the same time, on this issue, Aam Aadmi Party's ally Congress in the Indian coalition has also been targeting the Delhi government over the power tariff hike. “Delhi government and power companies are enjoying this money,” BJP leader Virendra Sachdeva said, not only summer consumption, but also due to PPAC and other charges, Delhi residents' electricity bills have increased. This money is being enjoyed by the Delhi government and power generation companies. The BJP leader said that the PPS, which started as 1.5% fee, has now reached around 45%. He said that he will hold a demonstration in 14 electricity board offices in Delhi on Monday against the hike in electricity charges. Aam Aadmi Party and BJP are two sides of the same coin – Congress Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Devendra Yadav has also hit out at the Aam Aadmi government over the power bill issue. Yesterday, Yadav said that electricity tariff hike and extortion in the name of PBS directly affects 1.5 crore people of Delhi. He said AAP and BJP are two sides of the same coin. Without solving the problems of the public, they fight and oppose each other. Blaming the Delhi government, he demanded an audit of the benefits received by power companies under the guise of PPAC. He said that this will expose corruption to the public and who is profiting by robbing the public. He demanded the government to immediately roll back the 8.75 percent hike in PPAC rates.
