Darbhanga Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: BJP candidate Gopal G Thakur is leading in early trends from Darbhanga Lok Sabha constituency. He is leading by 58289 votes over his nearest rival RJD's Lalit Yadav. In the seventh round, Gopal G Thakur got a total of 183344 votes and Lalit Yadav got 125055 votes. Gopal G Thakur is contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the second time. He became MP from the same constituency in 2019 election defeating RJD's Abdulbari Siddiqui. In this Lok Sabha constituency dominated by Brahmins, Yadavs and Muslims, the voters of the three communities decide the fate of which party leader wins or loses. The number of Muslim voters in this constituency is about 3.5 lakh. Brahmin and Yavad votes are about 3 lakhs. After this the number of Rajput and Bhumihar votes is 1 lakh each.
