Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made an important announcement. He said that every year on June 25th, the Constitution Day will be celebrated in the country. Emergency was imposed on 25 June 1975. Home Minister Amit Shah posted on social media that on June 25, 1975, the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi adopted a dictatorial approach and strangled the soul of our democracy by imposing Emergency in the country. Millions of people were jailed for no fault of their own and the voice of the media was suppressed. Also, the Government of India has decided to celebrate 25th June every year as 'Constitution Killing Day'.
