Congress MP has written to Lok Sabha Speaker on PM Modi and Anurag Thakur

Congress MP Manikam Thakur has written to Speaker Om Birla accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP MP Anurag Thakur of giving false and misleading statements in the Lok Sabha. The Congress MP, in a letter to the Speaker, has sought enforcement of the provisions of Instruction 115 (1). He has requested that appropriate action be taken in this regard. Opposition parties alleged that the Prime Minister had said that the Congress had falsely promised to give women Rs 8,500 per month. The opposition said it was a pledge of victory and government formation. The Congress said on July 2 that the Prime Minister had said that the vote percentage of the Congress had decreased in the 16 states where the Congress contested alone. This is actually incorrect. Stating that PM Modi's statement is false, the MP wrote in the letter that states like Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Karnataka and Telangana have increased their vote share. The Prime Minister said that during the Congress regime, the army did not have bullet proof jackets, which is completely wrong. There was a shortage of jackets, not that there were no jackets. Even the police had bullet proof jackets. Like what happened during the Mumbai attacks. This statement that Congress did not provide fighter jets to the army is also false. During the Congress period, there were MiG 29, Jaguar, Mirage 2000 and Sukhoi Su 30. Congress MP Demands action. On July 1, Congress objected to Anurag Thakur's similar claim about fighter jets. Objection to Anurag Thakur's statement that he did not provide fighter jets to the army, did not provide weapons to the army and brought 25 crore people above the poverty line. Congress MP Manikam Thakur pointed out that these comments by the Prime Minister and Anurag Thakur were wrong and wrote to the Speaker to invoke the provisions of Instruction 115 (1). In view of the above, you are requested to take cognizance of the untrue, false and misleading statements of the Prime Minister and Anurag Thakur as per the code of practice and initiate necessary action in this regard.
