The United Nations Secretary General has also criticized the violence. Government of India is continuously monitoring the situation. In this regard, BJP MP Anurag Thakur questioned the Congress on Friday. Anurag Thakur said that we are all worried about what happened in our neighboring country Bangladesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi not only congratulated the interim head of government of Bangladesh but also spoke about peace, security and development of Hindus and religious minorities in Bangladesh. Keeping his mouth shut on atrocities on Hindus, the BJP MP said it was unfortunate that Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Kharge did not talk about the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh in their statements and they did not mention it.
