Lurinjyoti Gogoi, United Opposition Forum (UofA), along with leaders of 18 parties, filed a complaint against Chief Minister Sharma at the Dispur police station. Speaking to reporters, he accused Chief Minister Sharma of trying to create enmity between various groups. What's up Himant Sharma spoke in the assembly on Wednesday. He dismissed allegations by Leader of the Opposition Debapratha Saikia, saying the Marwari community's apology for the alleged attack on a 17-year-old wrestler in Sivasagar was voluntary. He said the issue was resolved due to the generosity of the Marwari community. When the opposition MLAs got into trouble in this regard, they asked, 'Why do you get angry when you talk about minorities?' Targeting the opposition MLAs, Sharma said that there is a contest of votes among you, I am not in this contest. Meanwhile, the AIUDF MLA said that people of Lower Assam will go to Upper Assam districts as it is their right. Regarding this, Sharma said – Why should the people of Lower Assam go to Upper Assam? So the Mian Muslims could conquer Assam. We will not let this happen. Why controversy over Mian Muslim? The word Mian is used in opposition to the Bengali-speaking Muslim community. Non-Bengali-speaking Muslims use it to refer to immigrants in Bangladesh. The complaint said that Himanta Biswa Sharma should be arrested immediately, otherwise there will be riots in the state. In the complaint letter signed by Congress state president Bhupen Bora, Sharma is said to be spreading hatred in the name of religion and caste.
