Commercial gas cylinder becomes cheaper by Rs 72, new rates applicable
New Delhi, June 01 (Tezzbuzz). There is good news on the inflation front on the first day of June amidst the Lok Sabha elections. Public sector oil and gas marketing companies have reduced the price of commercial gas cylinder by Rs 72. The new rates have come into effect from today (Saturday).
According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder in the national capital Delhi has come down by Rs 69.50 to Rs 1676. In Kolkata, its price has now come down by Rs 72 to Rs 1787 per cylinder. In Mumbai, commercial gas cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 69.50 and is now available for Rs 1629. Whereas, in Chennai, its price has become Rs 1840.50 per cylinder.
In Chandigarh, a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder will be available for Rs 1697. In Patna, the price of commercial gas cylinder has gone up to Rs 1932. In Bhopal, a commercial gas cylinder will be available for Rs 1704, while in Lucknow, a 19 kg commercial gas will be available for Rs 2050.
This is the third consecutive month when the oil and gas marketing companies have reduced the price of commercial gas cylinders. However, there has been no change in the price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder.
