Celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi, do not offer these things even by mistake, worship may be fruitless
Ganesh Chaturthi Upay: This year Ganesh Utsav is being celebrated on 7th September. Every year Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated in the Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month. It is believed that worshipping Lord Ganesha ends all the sorrows and troubles, hence he is also called Dukhharta. Modak is offered to Lord Ganesha. But, there are some things which should not be offered to Lord Ganesha even by mistake. This makes the worship fruitless.
This year Ganesh Utsav is going to start from 7th September. Lord Ganesha will be worshipped for 10 days, starting from Chaturthi Tithi of Bhadrapada. During this time, devotees will offer many things to Gajanan. Modak will be offered. It is believed that this pleases Lord Ganesha and increases happiness and prosperity in the house.
Do not offer these things to Lord Ganesha
It is believed that Lord Ganesha likes many things and dislikes many things. For example, Tulsi leaves should not be offered to Lord Ganesha at all. This can anger Lord Ganesha and can have a negative impact on the devotee. Doing this can have the opposite effect on you.
Ketaki flowerLord Ganesha dislikes Ketaki flower, hence one should not offer Ketaki flower to Lord Ganesha even by mistake. Doing so makes the puja fruitless.
Broken or broken riceRice is offered as Akshat in worship, but do not offer broken rice to Lord Ganesha even by mistake. This can anger Lord Ganesha. This is not considered good.
white objectIt is believed that once the moon ridiculed Lord Ganesha, then Lord Ganesha cursed the moon. In such a case, things related to the moon should not be offered to Lord Ganesha. Offering white flowers, white clothes, sacred thread, etc. can make the puja fruitless.
