Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav took state Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to task over the development issue. The Union Minister has responded to the allegations of the BJD regarding the development work of the Central Government in the state. Ashwini Vaishnav shared two figures on social media platform X. In one, he shared new data related to telecom connectivity in the state and other data related to expansion of railway network. Presenting the two figures, the Union minister cornered the BJD government in the state and accused them of spreading false propaganda against the Centre. BJD claims that no new railway line has been laid in the last 6 years. Fact: PM @narendramodi Ji has laid 1,826 km of rail lines in Odisha in last 10 years. Regarding the expansion of 1,826 km railway line in ten years, BJD wrote that no new railway line has been laid here in the last 6 years, while the fact is that it was during the regime of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the last 10 years, 1,826 kilometers of railway lines have been laid in Odisha in India. He also said that this is more than the total railway network of Sri Lanka.
