It was a lot going on, and no creator likes a project to be late, but Bill's subject matter was very sensitive, so it took three and a half hours to write it and create it, which required this research. It is a web series. Movies are two hours and web series are five hours, so it also takes time (laughs) Now I will try not to take too long, but good things take time to develop. I do not agree with this idea because of the films I am making. Every story in it had a climax. We want to give the audience full thrill. As you said the series is on a very important issue, are there any issues with getting a producer or an OTT platform for the show? I would like to say that the producer of this series is Ronnie Screwvala, who is also the producer of My Aamir, No One Killed Jessica and Gunsucker. We meet often to discuss projects. I always try to go there and shoot in the actual location where the story is set. Everyone knows that shooting on real location is not that easy. There are many types of problems. We shot in real locations in Delhi and Chandigarh. This is your first web series, how different is this world from films? Its grammar is different. Its speed is also different. Since this is my first web series, it was a learning process for me too, so I have five hours to tell the story, however, it is not easy to engage the audience for five hours and it happens. How low is the game for you now? I think the struggle should never end. There is conflict, so you are looking for different topics and you are hungry to separate them. It was a struggle when I started my career, and since then I have been consistently getting work. The subject matter of this series has never appealed to me. After the failure of Kanjakar, did you limit yourself to the thriller genre? I am not Mian Mittu in my own words, but if you look at my portfolio, I have been a thriller film in every aspect of my life. Jessica is a thriller drama, thriller, comedy and drama.
