Bihar Weather: Thunderstorms, rain in Bihar, know what the weather will be like on Monday

Tomorrow's season: Patna. Bihar will now have thunder clouds and heavy rain for the next few days. Monsoon has resumed in full swing in Bihar, Meteorological Department said. Although the monsoon was weak in July, 37 percent below normal, it has picked up pace since early August. Most of the districts in Bihar have received rain, but some districts have recorded less than normal rainfall. The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rainfall in seven districts on Monday, especially Gopalganj, Sivan and Saran. The Meteorological Department has issued an 'Orange Alert' for Aurangabad, while a 'Yellow Alert' for morning rain is in place for Saran, Bhojpur, Buxar, Kaimur, Rohdas, Arwal, Jaganabad, Gaya, Araria, Purnia and Kishanganj. These districts will continue to receive rain today, the Meteorological Department said, adding that the cyclone that formed near West Jharkhand has now spread over Southeast Uttar Pradesh and areas at an altitude of 4.5 km above sea level. Monsoon is passing through Bikaner, Shivpuri, Daltonganj and Thika due to which rain will continue for next 5 days. There will be no significant change in temperature, but there may be a slight drop. Rain is likely in all districts on Monday. A warning has been issued for heavy rain in West Champaran, East Champaran, Muzaffarpur and Vaishali. Many districts of North and South Bihar are likely to experience lightening and thundershowers. Moderate rain and cloudy skies are likely in Patna on the fourth Monday of Chavan. Many districts including Patna and Nalanda received heavy rain. The temperature has dropped along with the rain. Patna recorded a drop of 1.02 degrees Celsius to 32.8 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was recorded at 35.3 degrees Celsius at Gopalganj and Buxar, while the minimum temperature was 29.5 degrees Celsius at Saharsa. Due to heavy rains, waterlogging has occurred in most parts of the capital Patna. It is also reported that the water level of several rivers including the Ganga in Bihar is increasing.
