Bihar Weather: Heavy rain warning in 3 districts of Bihar, people advised to be careful

Bihar Weather: Patna. As Monsoon has started in Bihar, rainy season has started in many districts. While light to moderate rains are falling in southern districts, many places in northern states are experiencing heavy rains. Bihar has been warned of heavy rainfall in 3 districts in the next 24 hours. Kishanganj, Araria and Katihar will receive heavy rainfall. People have been asked to be vigilant. Rapid fluctuations in climate have exacerbated population problems. After a day's respite from mild weather, the very next day people arrived in the grip of intense humidity. The temperature has increased by 6 degrees in the last 24 hours and people are suffering due to the heat. The rainy season will continue till July 2. On Thursday, Monsoon lashed entire South Bihar including Patna. Monsoon has advanced beyond Patna's northern border. Due to this, the monsoon is likely to continue. Due to monsoon activity, more or less heavy rain was reported across Bihar on Thursday. The Monsoon has shown its full strength soon after Purwaiya strengthened. As the monsoons have intensified, people across Bihar are getting a lot of relief from the heat. Even after the intensification of the monsoon, good rain awaits in Southwest Bihar. According to weather experts, there are indications of good rainfall in the region in the next couple of days. Especially the branch of monsoon from the Arabian Sea is moving fast towards Bihar. Due to its impact, there is a chance of rain at some places in South Bihar. According to the forecast, Monsoon rains are likely to hit almost entire Bihar till July 2. According to IMD, heavy to very heavy rains are expected over many parts of Bihar on June 29. Patna received 43 mm of rain on Thursday afternoon. Apart from this, districts like Vaishali, Begusarai, Chhabra, Motihari recorded significant rainfall. Ramnagar of West Sambaran in Bihar recorded 110 mm of rain and Bagaha 70 mm of rain from Wednesday morning to Thursday morning. Apart from this, Gopalganj and Subalin Pasua recorded 90 mm of rain and Saraiya in Muzaffarpur recorded 70 mm of rain. Sitamarhi, Subal, Kishanganj, Sheohar and Madhubani also reported significant rainfall. As per official IMD data, Bihar has recorded 55 mm of rain so far. This is 58% lower than normal. Only two districts in the state, Araria and Kishanganj, received 27 and 91% above normal rainfall respectively. So far, Araria has recorded 278 mm rainfall and Kishanganj 539 mm rainfall. This is the record rainfall for June in both the districts. The rest of the districts recorded less than normal rainfall. Temperature rises in Muzaffarpur: Muzaffarpur recorded a maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius on Thursday, which was 1.7 degrees above normal, according to Meteorological Department records. The minimum temperature is 26.2 degrees Celsius. Temperatures neared 30 degrees last Wednesday. The people were greatly relieved as a cold wind blew with dense thick clouds in the sky throughout the day. The weather remained stable with rain falling at around 2 pm in the city and rural areas. But after the next morning the weather changed completely. People had to face harsh sunlight during the day. According to a senior weather scientist, moderate to light rain is likely in all districts of North Bihar till June 30. The residents of Ara, who have been stuck in the scorching heat for a long time, got some relief on Thursday. The sky was overcast since morning. Due to the lack of sunlight, the temperature decreased. There was joy among the people as the temperature suddenly dropped by three degrees Celsius. People facing temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius were relieved as the temperature dropped to 37 degrees Celsius. The heat is making people think twice before stepping out of their homes. Diseases like diarrhoea, vomiting and dysentery spread in many areas due to extreme heat. Hospitals were also crowded with patients. Due to rain, the temperature has also dropped by five to six degrees. This has greatly relieved people from the heat. The rain was accompanied by strong winds. The maximum temperature before rain was 37 to 38 degrees. After the rains, the temperature dropped to 32 to 33 degrees. Heavy rain fell in the city and surrounding areas for about 20-25 minutes. After that it continued to rain till evening. For the past few days, thick clouds have been seen in the sky. But it didn't rain. Whereas on Thursday too, there was strong sunlight from morning. But in the afternoon it suddenly became cloudy and rained heavily. The people were also in high spirits with the first heavy rains of the monsoon.
