Bihar News: 3-month-old girl loses father after youth shot dead in Mathepura
Bihar News: A youth was shot dead in Goalpara police station area of Mathepura district. On Saturday night, police station area Shyam ward no. 22-year-old Saurabh Kumar, son of Shankar Yadav alias Musharu Yadav, resident of 10, was shot dead by armed criminals. On getting information about the incident, the police rushed to the spot and seized the body and sent it for post-mortem. The murder has created a sensation among the family members of the deceased. Saurabh Kumar's father Musharu Yadav has two brothers who got married a year and a half ago and became a father three months ago. Brothers Musharu Yadav and Rajkumar Yadav both lived in a colony in Ward No. 10. Recently, Musaharu Yadav has left the colony and has built a house in Ward No. 10 next to the dargah. His son Saurabh Kumar ran a dairy farm at Old Dih for many years. Saurabh Kumar got married to Preethi Kumari a year and a half ago at Jakaran Pratap Nagar of Muraliganj Police Station. Saurabh is the father of a three-month-old baby girl. Saurabh Kumar was at his dairy last night. At the same time someone called Thohatbari Thomasi of nearby Shyam Ward No. 12. When Saurabh Kumar went there on a bike, the criminals who were lurking earlier came forward and shot him in the neck. Saurabh died on the spot. People gathered on hearing the gunshots and informed Saurabh's family about the incident. By the time the family reached the spot, Saurabh was dead. After receiving the information about the incident, police chief Vijay Paswan reached the spot with his team and took necessary action and sent the body for post-mortem. The death of Saurabh Kumar creates confusion in the family, and even the family members are unable to say anything as the crime in the police station escalates. Despite the police's continued arrests, the morale of criminals has increased. Superintendent of Police Vijay Paswan said that raids are on to arrest the culprits and soon the incident will be exposed and the culprits will be behind the bars.
