BIHAR: In Chapra, relatives of the accused in the lawyer father and son murder case were attacked by people who came to their house after receiving information about the robbery.
BIHAR: An attempt was made to take hostage and beat to death the relatives of lawyer father and son murder accused Vijay Rai in Medwalia under Mufasil police station area of Chhabra. Two of them were seriously injured. Relatives have come to the house of the accused who was absconding from the house in connection with the theft incident. Meanwhile, the wife of Ram Ayodhya Prasad Yadav murder accused Vijay Rai and the SP took immediate action after getting information about the theft. It was reported that a theft had taken place at Sunil Kumar Yadav's house. Vijay Rai's house was closed since the murder. After that his wife came to his house along with his brother Ashok Roy who lives in Nagar Police Station area and Irfan Khan who lives in Chhota Delpa. On his arrival home, his Pattidars and villagers got angry and took him hostage. After that Ashok tied both Roy and Irfan with a rope and started beating them mercilessly. The police saved them from gang murder, but the incident came to the knowledge of SP. Thereafter, on his instructions, the DSP and Mofusil Police Station along with a police team reached the spot and freed both of them from the crowd and took them to Chhabra Sadar Hospital for treatment. During the treatment, the injured Irfan said he had no knowledge of the Medwalia incident. He went to Medwalia to drop Ashok Roy, a resident of his area, and his sister on a bike, where as soon as the duo got off the bike, 35 to 40 people surrounded them, tied them with ropes and started beating them with sticks. In this case, Pattidar Vijay Roy and his accomplices were accused on the statement of family members and the reason for the murder was alleged to be a land dispute. The police immediately took action in this case and arrested the two accused, local residents Kali Rai and Jagdeep Rai, and put them in jail. Vijay Roy is absconding in this case. The SP lawyer said: The wife and brother-in-law of Vijay Rai, accused in the father and son murder case, came to their house in Medwalia on receiving information about a burglary. The crowd started beating both Ashok Roy and Irrfan severely. But immediate action was taken on information and both were rescued from the crowd and treated at Sadar Hospital.
