In a meticulously coordinated operation, the Uttar Pradesh Police and Punjab Police have arrested an active operative of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. The accused, Lajar Masih, son of Kulwinder and a resident of Village Kurlian, PS Ramdas, Amritsar, Punjab, was apprehended in the Kokhraj police station area of Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh.

Investigations reveal that Lajar Masih was working under Germany-based BKI operative Swaran Singh, also known as Jeevan Fauji. Swaran Singh is a close associate of Pakistan-based BKI mastermind Harwinder Rinda and USA-based BKI operative Happy Passian. Intelligence sources indicate that Masih was in direct contact with Pakistan’s ISI, further highlighting the cross-border links of the terror outfit.
Recovery of Arms and Explosives
During the operation, a substantial cache of arms and explosives was seized from Masih. The recovered items include hand grenades and a foreign-made pistol, signaling the potential threat he posed. Masih is also wanted in multiple criminal cases in Punjab, further establishing his involvement in unlawful activities.
