BGMI 3.1 update brings new maps under WoW mode, Skyhigh Spectacle mode, and Bentley collab
Krafton on Wednesday launched the much-awaited BGMI 3.1 update. The new update brings some exciting changes for players weary of playing the same old maps.
The 3.1 update adds WoW (World of Wonder) mode to the game, enabling players access to a list of new maps for an enjoyable experience. Maps in the WoW mode are smaller and have different rules as opposed to the existing maps. That said, Krafton believes that players are all set to get their gaming experience upgraded.
BGMI 3.1 update rolling out to Android and iOS
The BGMI 3.1 update is now rolling out to Android and iOS devices. The Ninja Race – This will be a time-sensitive map where you’d have to demonstrate your reflexes to win the match. Dinosaurs vs Motorcycles (Solo Mode) – In this mode, there will be a clash between Dinosaurs and motorbikes in a high-octane race. You’d have to choose a side as you’d be playing solo here. The Fun Run (Solo Mode) – This is another solo mode where time will be of the essence. Players will have to navigate through a treacherous obstacle course filled with traps and challenges, racing against the clock to win the match. Jump, Bro Jump! (Solo Mode) – WoW mode will also bring a third solo mode where you will have to be the first to safely land on the ground. There will be melee weapons in this mode, adding an extra layer of challenge to the gameplay. Daredevil Stunt Rider – Here, players will have to navigate atop a towering structure on their motorbikes. Airdrop Wars – This will be a fun mode where players will get unlimited airdrops, meaning everyone will rush toward the drop and fight. You’d have to be quick to eliminate rivals to be a winner. Apart from these, there are two other game maps coming later. Although no date has been given on when these will be arriving. Following are the upcoming maps. Giant Duck Wars (Solo Mode) – This is a fourth solo mode that will be added later. Here, players will engage in epic battles on top of towering rubber ducks armed with rocket launchers and other weaponry. Battleship (6v6) – Love playing with a squad? The Battleship map will let you fight with 6 rivals with your team having a total of 6 players. This 6v6 game will let you take command of your own pirate ship and defeat the rival team winning you victory. Other than this, the BGMI 3.1 update also brings a new theme mode called Skyhigh Spectacle, which takes inspiration from the world of Aladdin. In this mode, players will look for a magical lamp on different maps. They can look out for different treasures or conquer Sky Castle, which will have two versions – day and night. There will also be a teleportal and Magic Carpet letting players move in the game. Lastly, the update also brings collaboration with Bentley, giving players access to multiple Bentley cars in the game. Players will have to unlock the choice of their cars. It is worth noting that, with this update, select Android and iPhone users won’t be able to play the game.
