According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), in June 2024, banks will remain closed for about 10 days across the country, including second Saturday and fourth Saturday and 5 Sundays. However, customers can withdraw money through net banking, mobile banking and ATM during this period. In fact, RBI keeps holidays in banks under the Negotiable Instruments Act, Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) Holidays and closure of bank accounts.

1 June: Banks will remain closed in Shimla due to Lok Sabha elections.
June 15: Banks will be closed on the occasion of YMA Day in Mizoram and Raja Sankranti in Odisha.
June 17: Banks will remain closed across India except Mizoram, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh on the occasion of Bakrid.
June 18: Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar on account of Bakrid.
Apart from these festivals, banks will also remain closed on weekends.
